My dad taught me this great principle when I was in 6 grade and playing little league baseball.  We were the worst team in the league.  We started out 0-8.  We sucked for half the season and then we finally succeeded.  We beat all of the teams in the league except for one in the second half of the season.  We probably would have beat them if we had played them one more time.  Then the league, for the first and only time, decided not to have tournament.  We had momentum.  We would have one the tournament for we had sucked until we succeeded.  That’s also how my wrestling carreer was.  I never one a match for like 6 years then I started to figure it out.

I’m happy to have had that little league experience for now I know how the Utah Utes feel after being 13-0 and beating 4 top 25 teams including the one who was supposed to win the national championship. (That’s Alabama)  So to day I’m wearing my “Utah Utes 2009 National Champions” hat and my “Giants 1993 Holiday Pony League Champions” tee-shirt.  What I wouldn’t give to have that ‘93 tournament.  If they had held it we’d have been league champs, I’d have gone on to play in the MLB and today I’d be sittin in a hot tub with my sole mate.  ‘93 was our year and they took that away from us, but they’ll never be able to take away the Giant from within the Giants. I’m a Giant! Be a Giant!

PS. Mom, if you’re reading this, can you scan the Giants team picture in and mail it to me so that I can add it to this post.  On second thought have your son do that for I don’t think you know what it means to scan a picture. (love you mom)
